Shadows In A Crowd

Alone, no matter the crowd,
Wrapped in sorrow, tasks aloud.
Companions fade, fears accrue,
Her spirit frays, hope in lieu.

Overworked, a relentless night,
Overstressed, a fading light.
Solo, her voice lost in the fray,
The burden heavy, day to grey.

Toiling in silence, no dawn near,
Swallowed by night, the endless fear.
Yet, a spark fights the engulfing blight,
Dreams submerged in the deepest night.

Her strength wanes, yet she stands,
A silent warrior in unseen lands.
Amidst the noise, a shadow she roams,
A silent echo, forever alone.
